Driftwood Wedding

TC Millwork was contracted to design and build a driftwood chuppah for a wedding December 28th at the Grace Bay ClubBrilliant did a gorgeous job of photographing the Tropicaldmc affair, please see all the gorgeousness on their blog; rustic-glam-beach-wedding

This four post arch is constructed of reclaimed wood, large pieces from a Haitian sloop wreckage, as well as curving branches of driftwood.  It may be decorated with a fabric canopy and flowers, as pictured above, or raw as these three images show.

It may also be set as a two post for a simplified look or smaller wedding, or in additional segments to canopy a dinner reception.  A variety of canopies are available in sheer organza, lace, or cotton.

This arch may be rented (installation and strike included) for any wedding or event, please contact us for rates and details!

 Lorcan and Caroline married at the Grace Bay Estates last April.  Caroline had done a superb job establishing the overall style of their picture perfect affair.  They couple chose wisely and it shows;
The most beautiful beach, world renowned Grace Bay.

Darling invitations and paper products.
A divine gown.

Special island touches.

A lush and serene location.

And, of course, the Tropical DMC team who weaved all their well laid plans together.  From the beautiful breezy arch,

to the sweet florals,

to flawless hair and make-up

to the precious peony crowned cake,

 for good measure.

What fun it was to style for such a pretty affair!

Congratulations to Lorcan and Caroline!
and big thanks to stylemepretty for sharing this too lovely for words Turks and Caicos destination wedding.

Flowerless Tablescapes

All Images courtesy of Federico Bigazzi

In March I did a tablescape collaboration between Teresa Brunner of http://www.tropicaldmc.com/, Claire and Taylor of Belongings, and Seven Stars resort. For couples looking to wed in the Turks and Caicos, the tablescapes pictured above could be stylish options for your reception. Tropical DMC has a collection of beautiful linen rentals, all satins seen above in espresso, tiffany’s blue, apple green, and fuscia, are available at $40 each. Belongings, one of the most chic interior decor boutiques on the island, offers a gorgeous selection of flatware, vases, place setting decor, and accessories. La Pergola at the Seven Stars resort, is a must see space, one of the few that can accomodate large groups. The exterior rooftop and surrounding veranda’s, chandeliers dripping with pale pink crystals, a white grand piano, and a stunning mahogoney bar create an ambiance of elegance. In such a sleek space, these modern tablescapes stood out, a welcome and refreshing break from tradition.
