We designed Acajou after Habitation Clément, an ancient Créole sugarcane plantation in Martinique. Steeped in French West Indian history, the plantation was formerly known as Domaine de l’Acajou, but is now famous as the birthplace of Rhum Clément. In 2014, after only 4 weeks on the market, Acajou was sold to it’s current owners.

A design collaboration with COAST architects, this luxury estate home spans a number of separate buildings comprising a multigenerational retreat. Showcasing many custom TC Millwork woodworks including the great rooms faceted electronic tv lift media cabinet, an oversize hanging seaside sofa, and a live edge coffee table and headboard from a felled Walnut from the owners property in the United States.

Cotton House is the offspring of our last three personal projects, intended to encompass the beauty and serenity of Fluer de Lys, the practicality and family friendliness of Acajou, and the privacy and extra work space of the Beach Barn. Cotton House is of the timeless traditional Caribbean aesthetic we continue to admire.

Extraordinary design and impeccable service is what the Gansevoort Hotel Group properties have become famous for. Stelle, the on property restaurant, bar, and lounge, recent renovation works aimed to create a recognizable identity, visual interest, and a more social atmosphere. Signature lighting, dramatic three-dimensional tile feature walls, and contemporary but comfortable furnishings aligned the space with the signature lifestyle hospitality brand.

The first design collaboration with COAST architects, Villa Awa blends uber-contemporary European luxury with outstanding location. Here it’s all about the water; black volcanic rock ponds flank the entry and an infinity edge pool provides vivid contrast from a stunning stretch of bright turquoise ocean backdrop. Native stonework and locally milled woodwork and cabinetry add tactile touches to custom ceramics, marble, and reflective wallpaper finishes. Ample alfresco dining and lounging spaces scatter the patches of light and shade cast by the architecture.

The first of our personal projects, Fleur de Lys Villa was built in 2004 around the concept that time should be spent outdoors. Each room opens to a central courtyard, the heart of the home featuring a forest of ferns, climbing vines, and tropical trees. Modern conveniences don’t cloud the craftmanship.

Ambergris Cay, home to Turks & Caicos Sporting Club, is an 1,100 –acre private residential island at the southeastern end of the Caicos Bank that has been under private ownership since 1811. The Providenciales showroom was located in the Regent Village, introducing the club and it’s conservationist concept. More than 65 percent of Ambergris Cay is preserved to maintain its archaeological ruins and natural landscape.

The Beach Barn was the second of our personal projects, inspired by the idea of loft living, a unique space combining studio/workshop and living quarters . Equal parts industrial and rustic, the space featured many recycled and re-purposed furnishings, the kitchen island made from a shipwrecked sloop, a desk from mortar molds, and a hand-painted Union Jack rug.
